Okay, Here's My Deal...

Haven't updated in a while because I have been busy with an online class that I am taking. I am getting a lot done and learning some, too. In my off time I have been hunting eggs on Facebook--I am up to 7,000 now. Anyway, didn't want anyone to think I had dropped off the face of the earth or anything.

I have also been busy tutoring a student that was expelled. There is another one that just got ousted this last week, and I have asked to pick thatone up, too. They are both in the same grade and were on the same team of teachers in the building, so it would be really easy to do. I hope they tell me sometime this week.

Okay, Here's My Deal...

Battered and bruised after several rounds in the ring. That is how I feel.

Ever love someone so much--respect them even more--and then have them think you have or are tryingto hurt them on purpose? Nothing you say can convince them. And every time you try to explain, it gets worse? Making the knot in your stomach grow bigger and tighter? It sucks.

And it all boils down to something that you did and you wish you could take it back or never have done it in the first place...that sucks even worse.

I have lost too many tears over it. The things I hate the most is that now, I will never feel like I have their trust again and I that I will try to guard my every word--just waiting to say something to fubar the relationship even more. That sucks the most.

Last Straw

Okay, Here's My Deal...

I really wanted to hire this guy today. I probably shouldn't say taht on here because osmeone will see it and think I am serious. I am NOT...but I have hit my limit with about 3 kids in my study hall. It has been a long time since I have been so angry with a student. I was almost in tears because I was so upset I let them get to me like I did.

I am going to investigate some schedule changes with a couple of them. I hate to do that to another teacher, but I need a break. Of course, I would not do it unless they agree and I know that I would really owe them big time. But at this point I would promise almost anything to get rid of them.

End of an Era

Okay, Here's My Deal...

When we cleaned this weekend, the end of an era came to pass. We are officially out of the baby stage at our house. We converted the youngest's crib to a toddler bed, got rid of the diaper genie (which was on its last legs anyway) and took the pad off the changing table and put a small TV on it. Add all of this to the fact that he stopped using a bottle on his own about 3 weeks ago and there isn't much babyesque about our house anymore.

Next week we go to kindergarten round-up for the oldest. Where does the time go? Before I know it, we will be going to college orientation...

Nt Quite Spring Cleaning

Okay, Here's My Deal...

I know it isn't officially spring yet, but we did a bit of spring cleaning here today. And, unlike usual when I say we I mean my husband, I mean WE did. We each took one of the boys rooms. Last night we had already done a little in the living room. By no means are we finished, but we put a huge chunk into it. The youngest's room isthe most done. We got a lot of things out of there that were ours and not his...so now he has his own room that is just his (with the exception of my clothes in his closet).

Now I just need to get the fire under my butt to do the same thing to my room at school.......
